Children and youth Theater is established in the year 1989.
The theater is exerting its maximum efforts in creating a morally strong and hard working generations that would play major role in the overall development of the country by using the arts.

Addis Ababa public library is a public institution established in 1972. The library has undergone several organizational changes. By now the library is administered by the Addis Ababa city Government Culture and Tourism Bureau.

Hager fikir Theater in Addis Ababa is not only the theater with the greatest tradition in town but also the oldest indigenous theater in Africa.

የከተማችንን ልማትና መልካም አስተዳደር በማረጋገጡና የነዋሪዎቿን ህይወት በመለወጡ ሂደት     ውስጥ ጉልህ ድርሻ ካላቸው አውታሮች መካከል ባህላዊ እሴቶቻችንና የቱሪዝም እምቅ ሀብቶቻችን ግንባር ቀደሞቹ ሆነው ማየት፡፡

በፋሺስት ኢጣሊያ ወረራ ምክንያት ቀደም ብሎ ተቋቁሞ የነበረው የሀገር ፍቅር ማህበር በአቶ መኮንን ሀ/ወልድ አማካኝነት ሲመሰረት በጊዜው ሥልጣን ለስደተኞችና ለባንዳዎች መሰጠቱ በስደተኞችና በአርበኞች መካከል አያሌ መቃቃሮች ተፈጠረ፡፡ 

በ193ዐ ዓ.ም. በራስ ቴአትር ተ/ኃይማኖት ስም ተሰይሞ "ሲኒማ ራስ" የተሰኘው ቤት የህንፃ ግንባታው የተጠናቀቀው በ1929 ዓ.ም.  መሆኑ ይታወቃል፡፡ የዛሬው ራስ ቴአትር ሲኒማ ራስ ኃይሉ በመባል ተሰይሞ የተለያዩ ፊልሞችን ማሳየት ጀምሮ ነበር፡፡ በወቅቱ ጣልያኖች ይህንን ስም የሰጡበትም ይሁን በራስ ኃይሉ ስም እንዲሰየም ያደረጉበት ቱባ ቱባ ምክንያቶች ነበራቸው፡፡
